Legal Protection For Fixed-Term Employees Who Do Not Receive Leave Entitlements A Study At Tanjung Garbus Plantation
Main Article Content
Abstract
The annual leave entitlements of fixed-term contract employees (PKWT), the validity of employment agreements that omit leave provisions and the legal protection afforded to workers at Tanjung Garbus Plantation are examined using a descriptive empirical legal research method. Data were collected through field research and a literature review, then analyzed qualitatively. The findings indicate that PKWT employees’ leave entitlements are governed by applicable laws and regulations and are not extinguished merely because they are omitted from the employment agreement. Legal protection is provided through preventive and remedial measures, including non-litigation and litigation procedures for resolving industrial relations disputes.
