Apprenticeship Regulations For Prospective Notaries And Its Legal Consequences According To Statutory Regulations
Main Article Content
Abstract
Apprenticeship is a prerequisite for prospective Notaries prior to their official appointment. However, in practice, some Notaries refuse to accept prospective Notaries seeking to apprentice, while existing regulations regarding the obligation to accept apprentices lack clear provisions concerning the legal consequences and sanctions for such refusals. This study aims to analyze the regulations governing a Notary's obligation to accept prospective Notaries for apprenticeship and the legal consequences for Notaries who refuse. The study employs a normative-juridical method utilizing conceptual, statutory and casebased approaches.
