Abstract

The environment is an absolute part of a person's life. One of the environmental problems that until now cannot be handled properly is waste management. Based on Law No. 18 of 2008 Article 9 there is a responsibility/obligation for local governments to implement policies on waste management based on norms, standards, procedures, and criteria. The Regency/City Government is based on its implementing regulations based on Government Regulation Number 81 of 2012 concerning the Management of Household Waste and Household-like Waste. With the enactment of the above regulations, it is hoped that the district/city government will implement environmentally friendly waste management so that environmental pollution can be handled properly.
